Things to know before investing.

Smart investors always do their research. And while VESTIUUM tries to minimize risk, we can’t eliminate it entirely. Here are some things to look out for.

 Go beyond instinct

Helpful tips for investors.

No investment is guaranteed, but there are things you can do to alleviate the risks and always consider the general CSF risk.

Review the terms

Each capital raise comes with certain deal terms, and you should read it carefully. We encourage you to seek your own professional advice.

Diversify your equity

Like any other investment, it’s useful to spread your equity across multiple asset class to minimize risk. Consider in asset class both domestic and international to reduce exposure to a single economy.

Financial Goals

Determine if it is long term or short team goals. It’s helpful to think of crowd source investing as a long-term strategy. You’re banking on these companies becoming successful a few years down the track. "Rome wasn't built in a day" .

Risk Tolerance

Before you invest, understand your risk appetite and tolerance level. Make sure to read the Offer Document, PDS and Risk Disclosure. Crowd-sourced funding may be risky and businesses may be speculative and is high risk. Research thoroughly and invest responsibly.

Measure twice, invest once.

Like anything in life, investing comes with risks. Crowd-Source Funding (CSF) is risky as companies may include new venture or startups. Investment in such companies may be speculative and attracts high risk. While we try to find the best companies there are general risk associated with the companies.  We will carefully screen every company on VESTIUUM, but we cannot guarantee their success nor do we give any investment advice or take responsibility for losses.
